Alana De La Garza has established herself as a household name in the world of the television. De La Garza, a Mexican American father as well as an Irish American mother, were both born in Columbus Ohio on June 26 in 1976. Her move to Texas to pursue the career of an Occupational Therapist at the University of Texas. De La Garza did not reside in Texas for very long, and she quickly moved to Orlando Florida, where she played a variety of roles as an actor as well as independent commercials as well as films. Her passion for acting quickly grew to perform even in small roles. Then she moved from the Midwest to New York. Her first role was on the soap-opera All My Children. The National Hispanic Media Coalition awarded her with the Impact Award, which is given for outstanding performances in the drama series. De La Garza was then chosen as a recurring character in CSI Miami. She was cast in the role of Marisol Delko as the spouse of David Caruso's Horatio. Her most current TV work was with NBC's rather dramatic dark show Do No Harm as Dr. Lena Solis. It was pulled after just two episodes. Alyssa Milano.............................Alyssa Jayne Milano was born on December 19 1972 in the Bensonhurst section of Brooklyn New York City to fashion designer and talent manager Lin Milano and film-music editor Thomas M. Milano. Her younger brother Cory has a ten year old brother who is older than her. Her family was very strict and spiritual one. Milano's career began at age seven after her child's sitter brought her to an audition. The audition was attended by four girls from over 1000 applicants. Milano appeared on the television in commercials, and off Broadway productions like an adaptation musical to Jane Eyre.
